I believe in miracles. In fact, most people do. Even in our highly secular western culture, many people believe in the possibilities of miracles. Various surveys suggest that really only about 8% of the world’s population are committed to the view that there is no supernatural phenomenon – and they tend to be very educated and have bought into the ‘enlightenment’ project – which is now considered to be a failed and faulty paradigm.
As a local church, we believe in miracles. We have many sitting in church every Sunday. There are ex-drug dealers, ex-homosexuals, ex-victims of abuse, ex-bankrupts – those who the doctors have given up on – all testifying to the power of God to restore, and heal.
We desire to contend for the supernatural. Thank God for every natural talent, capacity, effort that we enjoy and submit to God’s grace to bless people and our community. But it is not enough. We also need God to add “His” super to our natural.
Here is an amazing authentic healing from the internet.
And then amazing things can and do happen ….
"Who is like Thee among the gods, O LORD? Who is like Thee, majestic in holiness, Awesome in praises, working wonders? (Exod. 15:11 NAS)
