Time and Chance

Stuff happens. I am constantly amazed that life can be so unexpected and so random. It seems that life is often not fair. Bad things happen to good people. As a local church, I feel we do so much to try and live out the life of faith with real passions and dedication, but we sometimes do not seem to get the rewards we hope for.

Ecc. 9:11 I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.

It is the life of faith. To trust God no matter what we face. To hold on to Him, when we feel so alone. To cling to the promises of God, with a tenacity that says I will trust you Lord.

There is a season for everything and God makes it all beautiful in its right time.
