The Power of One

It wasn't a bad movie. The story of a boy who defeats all the odds. Jesus also spoke about the power of one. In John 17:21, in the garden, just before our Lord goes to face the passion of the cross, he earnestly prays that His followers would be one. He wanted believers to be as unified as the Father and Son are one.

Jesus believed that the church in unity would be the best way to present his own person to the world. When the church is in unity, not only does God command blessings, but it is the very best presentation of the reality of Jesus' life in the church.

We are the body of Christ! What a privilege! What an honour! What a glory!
