Giving and Getting

Over the last few weeks, we have been tested as a family and a church. Personally, I have found it easier to preach 10 sermons than live 1!

As a church facing financial challenges, I am delighted to report that we have committed to giving at sacrificial levels. The Board unanimously approved the forgiving of a significant amount of money owed to us by another church. We have sown this in faith believing that it is better to give than receive.

Personally, I stopped on the side of the road recently to help a motorist to be asked for money and food. I felt led to 'lend to the Lord' in this case and gave the man all the money I have in faith. By the end of the same weekend, the money had been returned to me miraculously over 1000 percent! Awesome is our God.
