Annual General Meeting

Next Sunday will be our Annual General Meeting. It is a time when we gather together to fulfil our obligations as a legal body corporate and then reflect on our past twelve months and to look forward into God's preferred future for us as a church.

The last year was a hard year for the church in terms of leadership transition and stretch and financial pressure. By God's grace, we are actually in quite good shape and are positioned to reboot our future in the Lord.

Ephesians 6 tells us that we are in a battle, not against people, but we fight against manipulative, controlling, dark and deceitful spirits that want to retard, distract and ruin God's church. Paul tells us to stand together in God's armour and to stand strong and having done everything, to stand.

Thank God for those in this family of God who have stood together over the last 12 months.
