Come away and rest awhile

I remember seeing the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" many moons ago before I became a passionate follower of Jesus Christ. I can recall one scene where Jesus is assulted by a crowd of lepers demanding that He heal them, that he touch them, and the character of Jesus seems overwhelmed by the need.

I can relate to the human side of Jesus that feels the task is bigger than what we can manage. But I suppose, that is what makes it a supernatural lifestyle. God has enabled me to do do more than what I am actaully capable of in my own strength.

As I start on 3 months long service leave, I am really looking forward to the break, relaxing and recharging my batteries. Ps Mike Mastin, an outstanding leader in his own right, has been invited in to be our caretaker pastor for this season. I am sure you will be blessed by his ministry and experienced leadership.
